Original acrylic painting by local artist 14 1/4" x 11 3/16" in excellent condition. Carolyn McDonald, Painter- Landscapes, figures, abstracts in acrylic and mixed media. Carolyn McDonald grew up in a small town in Jamaica. She obtained her B.A. in Fine Art, and teaching certificate in Ontario, and then taught art at high school, college and in her studio. Carolyn has exhibited in Canada, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico. Carolyn McDonald's art is often inspired by her Caribbean heritage, her travels and also by the play of light that transforms scenes into special and imaginative interpretations. Each painting is a new experiment and once begun, takes on a life of its own. Whether painting abstracts, landscapes or figures, Carolyn seeks to interpret the magic of our world in a personal and unique manner.
