Design Acoustics PS-SW Passive Subwoofer in Duncan, British Columbia for sale

This is a very nice sounding PASSIVE subwoofer or as Design Acoustics like to call it...a "Bass Enhancement Module". This sub does not have a built in amplifier. All you do is run speaker wires from you amp to the sub....and from the sub to your existing speakers to add a huge amount of bass to your system. This works much better with small bookshelf sized speakers that don't have much bass output. This has a built in crossover that will divide the signal from the amp and send the bass frequencies to the sub, and the midrange and high frequencies to your exsisting speakers. This will also protect your small speakers from bottoming out and damaging them.
This unit is in excellent working condition. Cosmetically, it's a bit rough, but you can always hide it in a corner or throw a blanket or cushion on it to make it look better. But it's all about the sound isn't it? See photos for details.
