Make me an offer on this 1966 Mercury 100 long box. 352ci V8, three on the tree.
This is a road going and insured vehicle. It passes economy cars with ease, and cruises nicely on the highway. It has sweet intake noise when passing.
The heads have large intake runners, and are mated to a port matched 4 barrel intake, then topped with a new distributor, and 650 cfm Edelbrock carb. The carb is easily tuned for power or economy, and comes with its instruction manual. The engine runs and idles well. Exhaust manifolds seal.
Four years ago I replaced: the brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, the mufflers, all the driveshaft u-joints, and center bearing, the rear axle bearings and seals, and the sealed beam headlights, with brighter Halogens.
Included in addition are the interior trim pieces, fender garnishes, a complete FelPro engine gasket set, and a spare new fuel pump. I have the stock 2 barrel intake and two sets of 390 heads that can go with the truck as well.
The forward cab mounts are rusted out, and the floors above are too. New cab mounts and floor pans are available at LMC truck, or Dennis Carpenter for a very reasonable price. Second gear is noisy, but it has never been a problem. 1st and 3rd are quiet.
The shiny left fender is from a collision with a deer, (and no the deer didn't polish the paint). The grill and bumper were replaced with reproductions from Dennis Carpenter, and are faithful to the originals. Have receipts for everything done.
I have roughly $4500 in parts into this truck, not including the purchase cost of the truck, or the ICBC claim to replace the bumper and grill, which look great.
