This 4 cylinder, 4x4, standard vehicle is the perfect balance of sturdy, practical and fuel efficient, and it looks great too! The interior and body are in good shape with no rust. It has approx. 295,000 kms on it. We recently spent $2500 on work on this car, so we are selling it at a loss. We had a certified mechanic:
- Service and adjust rear brakes
- Install front break pads, calipers, and rotors
- Install exhaust muffler and muffler soundfx direct fit
- Change oil, lube and oil filter
- Replace exhaust gasket
- Replace chassis control arm with ball joint and front sway bar link kit
- Install new megatron battery
- Re-secured radiator and tightened belts
This would suit someone who enjoys mechanics as it does need some more work; we are not sure what. It has a persistent rattle in the engine. Also, the windows come off the track so are hard to roll back up. It also needs a wheel balance, vehicle alignment and tune up/throttle service. It has possible oil leaks and needs a new dipstick tube. The price reflects these needs, as well as all the assets of this great Tracker.
