I've had 2 kids, a dog, and gear on this and pedaled it around with my own two legs. It is no more challenging to ride than a bike with a child seat or with an attached trail-a-bike. I've had struggles getting kids in the car but they always loved hopping on the back of this bike.
I've never gotten so many comments as I have on this bike. It might have been to two cute kids and dog but I like to think it was the bike that originally drew their attention.
