This exercise bike is a friction one with a strap and some felt around the flywheel for friction control. The felt and strap are sometimes picky, but still work if you ware willing to adjust it every now and then. A long time ago there was a panel on it which is no longer there, but if you are looking for a bike to exercise on without the bells and whistles, this will do it for you. It has wheels on the front that allows for easy movement in the house.
