Are you a quite independent mature female looking for a room to rent? I have a room to rent in my house but will be very specific as to who i will rent it to as I tried to help someone out last time and ended up getting screwed over in the past.
You: Must be a clean person, clean up after yourself in a timely manor. are a none smoker and none partier. (420 is fine although strata rules may change that in the future) You work and or go to school. I will require proof of either or. You don't have any children in your custody. You love animals. You respect and follow the rules that are set in place prior to moving in. You understand the importance of turning lights off and such when you are not using them. Utilities are included in your rent but that doesn't mean you get to leave every house light on when your not using them. You will change the garbage bag if you were the person to fill it up. You might have 1 small dog or cat. That animal MUST get along with my animals.
Me: I am a hard working single mom of a elementary aged child. I work 2 jobs. I am in my early 20's and own my own home. I am very motivated and will not live with someone who clashes with my motivation. I am currently trying to go back to school which is why I am looking to rent out this room. My son has some struggles and you would need to be respectful of the schedule that i have set in place for him. If we are eating dinner at 6 i expect to be able to use the kitchen prior to that and will leave it in a clean condition for you to use. I am a very fun loving bubbly energetic person who strives for success.
My house is fully furnished expect for the bedroom I will be renting out. You will have a shelf and cupboard in the bathroom. Hydro is included in your rent but there is an additional $15 for a parking spot and an additional 25$ for internet.
Laundry in unit - you will have 1 day a week where you can do laundry.
This add may sound a bit 'needy' or 'demanding' but I will not risk having the same situation as my past tenant which did not end out well.
