Sadly, I'm selling my 2005 Passat TDI wagon. I love driving this car, and it is great on fuel.

All season tires in good condition on stock rims that are in good shape.
Unfortunately I am not a mechanic, and the car is getting expensive to maintain. It's the only knock against VW - they are great fuel sipping performance cars, but pricier to fix up.
This puppy fires right up and runs well - but the "Check Engine" light is on because it needs a new torque converter. This is a common issue on the 2005 model as the original part has a faulty bushing from the factory and it causes the torque converter to fail. I've been quoted $3300 parts and labour from Albert Hols in Sahtlam to replace the part.
The passenger side motion sensor for the airbag is also faulty, so the Airbag light stays on.
The CV boots are also due to be replaced.
Otherwise, the car is good condition. I've owned it since 2009 and it has scratches and dings, but no accidents. No pets, just a couple kids raising heck inside.
Still a great car with lots of life for someone who likes to wrench on VWs or is wishing to invest some funds in a real gem.
