Vintage Persol Sunglasses Made in Italy Excellent Condition in Duncan, British Columbia for sale

These glasses have only been worn a handful of times and have been in storage since, no scratches. Beautiful blue quartz and tortoiseshell sunglasses purchased in 1996 like new condition includes original case. Far superior to present day Persol glasses, this model and type of quartz glass is no longer in production. New Persol glasses cost $300-$455. Persol is an Italian luxury eyewear company specializing in the manufacturing of sunglasses and optical frames. The name is derived from "per il sole," which, in Italian, means "for the sun." Formed in 1917 by Giuseppe Ratti, Persol originally catered to pilots and sports drivers. . All the "plastic" used for Persol spectacles are made in Italy using cellulose acetate, a hypoallergenic material derived from cotton.
