1993 KAWASAKI ZX600E NINJA
This is the first year of the longest running 600 Ninja model. 12 years of success. In 1993 when this 600 came out it was the most powerful 600 sportbike on the planet. And that power still shows through, with lots of torque and ridability. This bike is a fine example of that lineage. Well maintained by a Kawasaki Factory trained technician. This bike has always used Kawasaki Synthetic oil and factory filters. It was recently painted as the original paint was starting to fade. There are new tires to keep the traction and handling at the top, and the suspension was serviced 5000kms ago. I just put on new chain and sprockets. The coolant was flushed last spring, and the hydraulic fluids (brake and clutch) were replaced at the same time, so this bike is ready to go for the long haul. And long hauls are what this bike is made for, with top quality Hepco-Becker saddle bags, and a tall windshield for comfort. I do still have the original windshield, and the bag supports can be easily removed if you want a sportier look. There are only 50000kms on this bike, so it's barely reached 1/3rd of its life. This bike may not be the hyper sport 600 of today, but it is still very sporty and probably a little more comfortable.
