This American Vintage 1957 Commemorative Stratocaster®, aka Mary Kaye 50th Anniversary Strat is THE ultimate reissue Stratocaster. Just a beautiful guitar all round. It has been very lightly used - never gigged with. Totally stock, except the supplied 5 position switch has been installed. No haggling on this baby, I'm afraid. However, might consider a quality trade, plus cash.

To celebrate the iconic '57 turning the big 5-0, we are rolling out this anniversary model in a popular early cosmetic- White Blonde with Gold hardware. The 1957 Commemorative Strat® includes a special neckplate, and will only be produced in 2007. Although the Strat officially debuted in 1954 (ash body, U-shaped neck), the year 1957 is important, as this is the year that the specs all came together (alder body, V-shape neck), making the guitar that we know and love today.
