Vintage 1931 National Steel Guitar/Dobro in Duncan, British Columbia for sale

Vintage 1931 National Steel Resophonic all steel guitar/dobro. Serial # S2031.
This guitar/dobro is in very excellent condition, so much so, that I had great difficulty photographing the incredible Hawaiian scenes etched on the front and back of the guitar because of the reflective glare. This guitar has been set up as a dobro, so the neck has literally never been played. There is no wear at all on the neck since it was bought. I have the original dobra "lift" that was placed on the nut. Unlike many of these 1931 guitars, it has a round neck (not the block neck of the commoner dobros) that indicates to me that it was intended to be played as a regular guitar, but was never used that way.
I actually have the original cardboard case that it came in, and several "how to play Hawaiian' books from 1927. Also, two tickets from the Vancouver Peter Pan Ballroom where the original owner used to play in the orchestra. Cost of tickets was 35 cents!! All in all, a very rare find.
I was going to convert the guitar to be played as a regular guitar, but only ever bothered removing the "lift" from the nut. I soon realized that the frets would have to be dressed before it could be played properly that way, but I decided against this so I could keep the guitar entirely original. Asking price is $4,750.
